Severus was born in Cokeworth and Lives with his mother who is a witch and his father who is a muggle. He grew up living near Lily Evans House. His father neglected and is said to abuse him. He met Lily and her sister Petunia near his home, he likes lily but he dislikes Petunia.
His parents often fight which is why when he was younger he could not wait to go to Hogwarts. When he arrived at the school with his best and only friend Lily, they were sorted into different houses. Lily as a Gryffindor and He a Slytherin. At Hogwarts is where he met the group that called themselves the Marauder that consisted of James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew.
The Marauders tend to target Severus for their so called pranks and for that he hates them. He is planning on joining the Death Eater because he sees no reason not.
